This is the quickest way to add a YOCode to your iPhone’s contacts. You can fill in all personal information manually, including first name, last name, company, photo, phone number and email.

  1. Save your YOCode to your iPhone’s gallery.
  2. Select the “Contacts” icon for adding new contacts to your iPhone.
  3. Tap “+” on the top right corner of your iPhone.
  4. Enter the contact name as, YOCode.
  5. Then enter the domain name in the website field, i.e., www.scatteredtreasures.org/johndoe Now add this contact to your favorites.
  6. Be sure to add the image of your YOCode to the photo profile area.
  7. Tap “Done” to complete.

How to add a YOCode image to your iPhone’s Home Screen

Tap add to home screen and tap icon (saved in your gallery) next to your shortcut under home screen name and icon. In the pop-up window that appears, select file, photo, or take photo. You can crop an image to customize what will show, but the image does not have to be square or specific size. Tap Add >Done.

  1. Right-click the image and select Copy. (Alternatively, for Windows, press Ctrl + C to copy. For Mac, press Command + C to copy.)
  2. Right-click inside the Yahoo Mail message where you want the image to go and select Paste.(Alternatively, click where you want the image to go, then press Ctrl + V (for Windows) or Command + V

  3. Hover the mouse over the image and select the ellipses (…) located in the upper-right corner of the image to adjust the size of the image.
  4. Enter text before or after the image to add context (You can include as many inline images as you want so long as your message is less than 25 MB in total size).

How add an Inline YOCode image to enhance your message

This document explains how to add an Inline YOCode image to a Gmail message so the image appears in the body of the email. These instructions cover Gmail on the web and Gmail mobile for iOS and Android.

  1. Go to compose and select the Expand window icon (the-double-sided arrow) in the upper-right corner of the composition window to make it larger.
  2. Drag and drop the YOCode image from the folder on your computer to the desired position in the message.

Tip: You can also paste the image at the desired location in the email from the clipboard using Control + V (for Windows and Linux) or Command + V (for Mac).

  • Position the text cursor where you want the image to appear.
  • Select the Insert Photo icon in the formatting toolbar.
  • Select Inline next to Insert images to have the pictures appear inside the email.
    Note: Choose As attachment to send the photo as an attachment.
  • To uplaid an image from your computer, select Upload > Chose photos to upload and open the desired YOCode.
    Note: Images you upload from your computer remain available in the Insert image dialog box while you compose the message (but not for other emails).
  • To insert a YOCode from Google Photos, go to the Photos tab and select the image you want to include.
    Tip: In the Albums tab, photos are organized the same way as in your Google Photos albums.
  • To use a YOC image from the web, go to the YOCode’s Web Address (URL) tab and enter the image’s URL next to Paste an image URL here.
    Note: YOC images from the web appear Inline with the message. These images are never sent as attachments. Any recipient who has remote images blocked won’t see the image.
  • Select Insert.

Why Use Inline Images?

Using Inline YOCode images can make your messages easier to understand. With an Inline YOCode image, you can add text before and after each to give it context, and the images is the first thing that is displayed as the email is opened.

Another benefit is that the recipient doesn’t have to download anything. They can click or scan the image and the quick response code will function in real time. If the recipient wants to download the YOCode, they can right-click the image and choose Save image as.
